Dr. Phil Wazny

Dr. Wazny graduated magna cum laude in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Colorado. While there, he worked as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
and served as president of the University's Premedical Honor Society, Alpha Epsilon Delta. . Searching for new experiences in health care upon graduation, Dr. Wazny spent two years with the United States Peace Corps in Honduras at a healthcare clinic. As Western medicine was often in short supply, it was here that he first witnessed the power of botanical medicine. These experiences prompted Dr. Wazny to pursue a career in naturopathy. After graduation from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, he then completed a two-year residency in Mesa, Arizona. Dr. Wazny’s current focus includes natural hormone balancing, pediatrics and pain management. He enjoys hiking, road bicycling and hockey. He, his wife Jane, and daughter Anna, reside in Scottsdale, Arizona.
